Kayak Experience Days: Kids will love this 90-minute introduction to kayaking in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Under the supervision of qualified instructors, they’ll take to the water and learn to paddle like pros!
Classes are held on the boating lake in Mill Gardens, Leamington Spa. The British Canoeing-approved boating centre is the perfect place to try kayaking for the first time, whatever your age, and kids will be in safe hands with their highly qualified, friendly instructors. During the 90-minute session, they’ll learn all about essential kayaking equipment and safety, before donning their buoyancy aids and heading out on to the water. Here, they’ll practice basic boat control and paddling skills while playing a variety of fun games organised by their instructor. When the lesson concludes, they’ll have achieved their Paddlepower Start Certificate: Level One—the perfect springboard if they want to continue kayaking!

Where is it Located
What to Wear
You are advised to wear basic sports clothes suitable for the weather, and that you don’t mind getting wet. Sunscreen and hats are recommended for the summer months, and an extra fleece/jumper for the winter.
Shoes must be worn at all times.
Please also bring a towel and full change of clothes for afterwards.

Weather
Kayaking will go ahead in most conditions. For your own safety, very rarely flood conditions may lead to postponement - the venue will contact you if ever a session is postponed.
