Wellness Experience Days: Connect with yourself and nature during this two hour horse meditation experience in the Lake District. This method of meditation allows for the nervous system to rest, resulting in the relaxation of the body.
Your horse meditation takes place in the beautiful Lake District. The experience starts with a lesson on horse safety and psychology to ensure everyone feels educated and safe in this environment. A grooming session then begins so that the participants are able to form a bond with the horses. After the horses have been groomed, stillness exercises commence to encourage relaxation. When the group is still, the horses are able to respond. Some may fall asleep next to you, others will make physical contact or simply move closer to you. When this happens a guided meditation begins to create a state of stillness and serenity. The goal of this experience is to feel closer with oneself and nature, build a connection with horses and spend some valuable time immersed in nature.
This is a unique meditation experience perfect for those who enjoy connecting with their inner-self, and spending time outdoors with animals.
Availability
The Horse Meditation Experiences run up to 3 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the year. Dates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
