City Cruises: Cutty Sark & Royal Observatory Review
- Sep 16, 2015 - by Becky Fieldhouse
On the August 25th Rosie and I headed down to London for a day of sightseeing - though this wasn’t your typical tourist day out, hopping on and off the underground. Instead, we were traveling in style, boarding the City Cruise ferry from Westminster pier, and embarking on a sightseeing tour of the Thames all the way to Greenwich. You may have visited London hundreds of time before, but you haven’t properly experienced London until you see it by boat! Removed from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, you truly get to absorb the beauty of London and the juxtaposition of the calm and tranquil cruise compared to the flurry of the City centre.
Product Review with 2020 Archery London
- Aug 24, 2015 - by Becky Fieldhouse
On the Saturday 15th August me and Rosie headed down to London Bridge for our first ever archery experience! Having not taken part in the sport before, we were both super excited when we were invited by 2020 Archery to come and try their hour and a half Have a Go at Archery introductory session. The class was perfect for people of our ability (which was non-existent) as the groups were limited to 12 people per instructor so you were given plenty of help and guidance, which in our case was very much needed!

Lunch Cruise with Bateaux London
- Jul 16, 2015 - by Poppy Hatrick
Every time I go to London I get this overwhelming urge to visit as many of the tourist attractions as possible, but it doesn’t matter how prepared I am (and I always wear my comfiest shoes, that’s a number one rule when wandering around the city of London) I am always defeated. By the end of the day my feet are screaming at me to give them a break and sit down. So today that’s exactly what l decided to do as I set sail on an hour and a half luncheon sightseeing cruise, down the river Thames, courtesy of Bateaux London Cruises.
