Helicopter rides are a thrilling, unique way to see the country from a birds eye view, and the Towers and Tall Ships tour gives you the opportunity to explore historic landmarks from the air - some of which will be totally unfamiliar to you! You'll be one of the lucky ones to travel 1,200 feet above the ground and look down on this beautiful area of Southern England.
Your experience will begin at the airfield, where you'll be briefed on flying procedures and safety measures. Having been given your helicopter headphones and securely fastened in the helicopter, you'll start your adventure and depart from Goodwood Aerodrome, ascending swiftly into the sky. You'll zoom towards Chichester Harbour Marina, then on to Witterings and Hayling Island, Spinnaker Tower and Portsdown Hill Forts - amongst many others! The tour finishes with stunning aerial views of Goodwood Racecourse, allowing you to see the full circuit in all its glory. This really is an unforgettable experience, and one that not many people will be able to say they've done!

Helicopter Tours in Sussex are available from March to November weather permitting. Weekday tours usually take place on a Wednesday and weekend helicopter tours on a Saturday.

You are welcome bring family and friends along with you to watch
your tour in Sussex; however, only those participating on the
actual tour are permitted to go airside. There is a viewing lounge
at the centre which looks out over the helicopter operating area,
so this is ideal for spectators to view the flying activities.
Bespoke routes are available for parties of four passengers, so please let the centre know if you are interested in this. The helicopter tours will take place in either in a Bell 206 Long Ranger, which can hold up to six passengers per flight, or in a Jet Ranger, which can hold up to four passengers per flight.
You should wear comfortable, casual clothes for your helicopter tour. All safety equipment will be provided by the centre.
The 'Towers and Tall Ships' tour is weather dependent and will not go ahead in particularly adverse weather. If this is the case, your tour will be rescheduled.
