Static Line Parachute Jump - North East

Static line parachute jumps are perfect for beginners - full training is given & your parachute automatically deploys for confidence! Take the 1st step to becoming a certified skydiver by yourself

For the greatest sense of personal achievement and the thrill of an immense adrenaline rush, why not try a static line parachute jump? Combining the adventure of a traditional skydive with the satisfaction that you did it all by yourself, static line jumps are the cheapest way to learn to skydive – and because your parachute is automatically deployed, they are ideal for those with no experience or any concerns! This fantastic course takes place over 2 days and will end with you jumping over 3,000 ft from a plane, and then gently parachuting down and steering your way back to solid ground! Whether you want to jump as a one-off experience or as part of a course to progress on to freefall and skydiving, a static line parachute jump is always the best place to begin. This is an incredible experience and guarantees you excitement, enjoyment, and a real sense of pride as you complete the jump.Your first day is all about the theory of the jump; you will be taught how the equipment operates, the safety regulations, how you must control the open parachute to steer it down, and you will also be instructed on the skydiving techniques required to exit the aircraft and fall in a controlled manner. The second day is all about the jump; the aeroplane will take you up to 3,00ft or higher, and the static line will automatically deploy the RAM air square parachute when you jump. Under the direction of your instructor (who you have radio contact with), you will then fly your parachute to the landing area. Simple! The RAPS course gives a qualification leading to solo free fall.
