ALL ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Land Boarding Course (Two Day) - Hampshire

Learn to fly a high powered traction kite, improve your skills & start some power up jumps during this awesome course! All equipment and specialist instruction included - see just how far you come!

Landboarding is a fast and exciting sport that draws from kitesurfing, snowboarding and skateboarding, and it's not hard to see why its popularity is growing so rapidly in the UK. One of the best things about kite landboarding is that it can be performed on the beach or grassland with equal success; unlike kitesurfing or snowboarding, which rely on specific conditions and strong wind in order to be carried out, landboarding allows you to get your kite out and cruise along virtually wherever you are.

As awe-inspiring as it looks, it is not difficult to become a kite landboarder. This fantastic two day course is designed to make you a self-sufficient land boarder, and will provide you with a safe, fun and exciting environment to learn and to progress. The course covers a range of subjects, though the majority is spent flying and developing your new kite and board skills. Harnessing the wind's power is great fun and hugely rewarding when reaching high speeds - give it a go now and see how far you come!On the first day you will start your day with a short safety briefing before being familiarised with the equipment - land board, kite, harness etc. Then it's time to have some fun! You will learn to fly and control traction kites which will get you used to the power that the kites generate. Once your kite skills are developed it is time to get you onto the board to enjoy your first runs. Day two is all about building on what you have learned on day one and improving your land boarding skills, you will practice techniques such as edging and if you are feeling brave you might want to start doing your first jumps!
