Scuba Diving Experience Days: If you’re a true water lover or just one that wants to experience something a little more daring than your every-day laps down the pool, then try this Scuba Diving Experience.
Located in the stunning Vivian quarry in North Wales, you'll have the opportunity to experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a qualified SSI Instructor. Learning at an introductory level with an experienced instructor creates a safe and enjoyable experience for learners and professionals alike! During the experience, you'll be given a short briefing before taking to the water to have a go for yourself. During the in-water session you'll be shown how to use the equipment in the safety of the on-site training cage and then when you are ready, take a short dive into the quarry itself, and explore the underwater attractions such as the sunken boat!
So, if you would like to explore all that the under-water world of Wales has to offer, this is just the thing to get you started!
Availability
This scuba diving experience in Wales runs on Friday and Sundays throughout the year. All bookings are subject to availability.
Requirements
The minimum age for this Scuba Quarry Dive Experience is 10 years.
All participants will be required to complete a health declaration upon arrival - if you are deemed 'unfit' for the experience, you will not be entitled to a refund. Please contact us to discuss any medical condition prior to booking.

The entire scuba diving experience will last up to 3 hours (depending on group sizes).

Max Group Size: 4
Spectators Allowed on Site: No
The scuba experience can cater up to 4 participants. Unfortunately this isn't suitable for non paying guests.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
They use drysuits for the dive experience. You'll need to bring with you warm thermal clothes for underneath the drysuit. Please also bring a change of clothes for after the experience.
There are changing facilities located on site. Although there are no refreshment facilities on-site, there are a number of small cafes nearby, and staff at the centre are even happy to order in food from the nearest town if you so wish!
Weather
Although this introductory quarry dive is held outside, it is usually not affected by weather conditions (except in extreme circumstances).

Yes this introductory course would be suitable for beginners. All participants will however be required to complete a health declaration upon arrival - if you are deemed 'unfit' for the experience, you will not be entitled to a refund.
This experience requires no previous experience, however our instructors have advised that only a basic level of swimming is required and that the dive is
conducted within a training area which you can also stand up in.
It is primarily up to you and whether you would feel comfortable taking part.
