Diving Experience Days: Located in the stunning Vivian quarry in North Wales, you and only one other participant will have the opportunity to experience Rebreather diving under the direct supervision of a qualified SSI Mares Horizon instructor. Learning with an experienced instructor creates a safe and enjoyable experience for learners and professionals alike!
As you arrive you'll be welcomed by your instructor. Initially you'll be given a short briefing within the training area, before taking to the water to have a go for yourself. During the in-water session you'll be shown how to use the equipment in the safety of the on-site training cages and then when you are ready, take a short dive into the quarry itself, and explore the underwater attractions - including a sunken boat! As the on site quarry and training cage is only used for those at the centre, it is fantastic that all the training can be taken at a pace that suits you.
So, if you would like to give Rebreather diving a go, then this Introduction session is just the thing for you!
Availability
The experience will take place year round, on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
Dates are subject to availability.
Requirements
This diving experience is only for qualified divers.
This experience is for qualified divers only, a minimum of Open water Diver must be held with a logged number of 25 dives. All participants will be required to complete a health declaration upon arrival - if you are deemed 'unfit' for the experience, you will not be entitled to a refund. Please contact us to discuss any medical condition prior to booking.

This experience will run with a maximum of two people. Unfortunately, it's not suitable for non paying guests.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
They use drysuits for the dive experience. You'll need to bring with you warm thermal clothes for underneath the drysuit. Please also bring a change of clothes for after the experience.
There are changing facilities located on site. Although there are no refreshment facilities on-site, there are a number of small cafes nearby, and staff at the centre are even happy to order in food from the nearest town if you so wish!
Weather
This introductory quarry dive is held outside, it is usually not
affected by weather conditions (except in extreme circumstances).
