Outdoor Experience Days: Hidden away in a fantastic gem of a location in the Brecon Beacons, this half day gorge walking adventure will see you and a friend exploring one of two fantastic rivers, and the geographical marvels they have carved into the rock faces over time!
Upon arriving at the adventure centre, your friendly expert instructors will introduce themselves and welcome the rest of the group, before kitting you out with the necessary safety gear. Helmets on and buoyancy aids adjusted, your outdoor adventure will begin! Heading out to the gorge of choice, you'll be surrounded by magnificent scenery - placing you in the centre of an ever-lasting battle between landscape and river! Throughout the 3 hour adventure, you'll find yourselves trekking down the river path, scrambling over rocks, swimming through clear waters and perhaps even jumping over waterfalls.
Physically demanding, but great fun, this is the perfect outdoor adventure experience for those thrill-seekers in your life, and certainly one not to be missed!
Availability
This half day gorge walking adventure in Merthyr Tydfil is available throughout the year on both weekdays and weekends.
Please note that bookings in May, June and July can be tricky due to higher numbers of large group bookings, so please give plenty of notice.
Requirements
Minimum Age: 8 years.
This is a very physical experience so participants should be fit and healthy. If you have any concerns, please contact our customer support team.

Experience Duration: 3:00
Time Spent at Venue: 3:15
This half day gorge walk will last for approximately 3 hours intotal.
Morning session: 9:15 - 12:30
Afternoon session: 13:15 - 16:30
You'll need to arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time inorder to get signed in.

Spectators Allowed on Site: No
Minimum Group Size: 4
If you have purchased a voucher for 3 people or less, you willsimply be added to another group booking on a suitable date.
There is no maximum group size as such, but groups larger than12 participants will need to give plenty of notice for abooking.
This is a 3 hour experience, taking you out into the BreconBeacons, so is not suitable for non-participating spectators.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
Please dress according to the weather, and suitably for outdoor activities.
You'll also need a spare set of clothing to change into, after the experience.
Safety equipment such as helmets, buoyancy aids and wellies will be provided by the centre upon arrival.
Weather
This is an all-weather outdoor experience.
However, if severe weather conditions cause the experience to be deemed unsafe, you will simply be re-scheduled for an alternative date.
