Tennent's Glasgow Beer Heritage Walking Trail for Two

Tennent's Beer Heritage Walking Trail for Two in Glasgow, Scotland

Brewery Experience Days: Experience Days Walking Tour: Discover the city behind Scotland’s favourite beer during this guided walking tour of Glasgow, followed by a visit to Tennent’s Wellpark Brewery. Explore the history of the city’s most iconic landmarks—not to mention over 450 years of brewing tradition—and enjoy a complimentary pint poured straight from Tennent’s copper tanks!

Tennent’s Wellpark Brewery has been producing award-winning beers since 1885, when Hugh Tennent brewed his first lager inspired by his travels in Bavaria. Back then, one local newspaper described the newly built brewery as a ‘madman’s dream’, but Tennent stuck to his guns—and thank goodness! Today, Tennent’s is the country’s best-selling lager, and thanks to its iconic ad campaigns, a beloved part of Scottish culture.

Glasgow is rightly proud of its export, and during the first part of the tour, you’ll explore some of the city’s other famous landmarks—including Glasgow Cathedral, the Necropolis, Provand’s Lordship and the medieval quarter. Next, you’ll return to the brewery and its immersive Tennent’s Story heritage centre—the UK’s largest beer attraction. Here, you’ll trace the history of brewing at Wellpark, from the 1500s to the present day, before heading to the tasting room for a free pint poured directly from the copper tanks. You won’t find a fresher Tennent’s anywhere in the world! Cheers!

Glasgow Beer Heritage Walking Trail for Two would make a unique experience gift for beer lovers and fans of all things Scottish. Surprise your other half, dad or best mate with an Experience Days voucher today!
