Located on Ship Street in the trendy Brighton Lanes, Hotel du Vin is a modern 4-star hotel with a traditional vibe paying homage to its roots in the historic fishing village of Brighthelmstone. Friendly staff will show guests to their table and happily make tea recommendations, choosing from a tempting list created by local company Bird and Blend Teas; the Gingerbread Chai and Peppy Mint are firm favourites! Served on the classic tiered stands, guests will be treated to the afternoon tea staples; smoked salmon and cream cheese, ham and mustard, cheese and pickle, egg and cress and a delightful cucumber and mint sandwich, plus a selection of handmade cakes and fresh scones with jam and clotted cream. To add a little extra sparkle to the whole experience, enjoy a glass of Lambord champagne from the Epernay region of France alongside your afternoon tea. A wonderfully relaxing way to spend an afternoon in Brighton!
