Well, this traditional afternoon tea, in Dartmoor National Park, delivers just that! Get together with someone special, and catch up over an enticing selection of savoury and sweet treats. 

The experience takes place at the Mill End Hotel, on the scenic banks of the River Teign. On arrival, you'll choose your seats in either the comfortable lounge or pretty garden, before selecting teas to accompany the spread of fresh-cut finger sandwiches, warm scones, and handmade sweet and savoury delights. Throughout your visit, you're guaranteed quality service and the perfect atmosphere in which to savour great company. What more could you ask for?

A nice location in the grounds of an old Manor House which I believe was built in the 16th Century. Afternoon Tea for two was excellent and more than ample. A nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon to celebrate an occassion ion Dartmoor.

As we arrived we were greeted by friendly and professional staff. The weather was warm and sunny so we were given the choice of whether we wanted to sit outside or inside. We chose to sit outside in the lovely garden with comfy chairs and shade. The tea was brought promptly, and my wife (who doesn't like tea or coffee) was happily offered a soft drink instead. The tea was beautifully presented on fine china plates and cups and consisted of tasty delicate sandwiches. There were also other savoury morsels with flavours that surprised and livened the taste buds. The cakes and scones with lots of clotted cream were also a treat.
