Segway Experience Days: Have you ever ridden a Segway? No? Well, here’s your chance! During this one-hour Segway safari in Macclesfield, you’ll learn how to control these futuristic vehicles using your body weight and balance. Simply lean forward to begin exploring the challenging woodland course!
Your experience takes place at one of the region’s top outdoor activity centres, within the 160-acre grounds of a privately owned country house. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by an instructor, who’ll begin by introducing the Segways you’ll be riding. These off-road models are fitted with extra chunky tires, and they’re easy to control once you get the hang of it. With a little practice, you’ll be ready to take on the challenging off-road circuit, which features dirt tracks and winding woodland pathways. You’ll gain confidence and speed as you whiz along, watched by the odd cow or sheep, before returning eventually to the start point. Whether it's your first time on a Segway or not—you won’t want to give it back!
