Afternoon Tea Experience Days: Experience a traditional Afternoon Tea at Appleby Manor in Cumbria, the ideal day out to share with a friend. This stunning venue supports everything British - with wild flower gardens, rich country scenery and amazing food. Bringing afternoon tea back to its roots, this experience will take you back to how afternoon tea was supposed to be when it was introduced by the Duchess of Bedford in the 19th century.
Appleby Manor is a traditional Victorian style Manor, with luxurious vintage architecture situated by the mountains of the Lake District. The Appleby Manor Afternoon Tea will provide you with a wide selection of sandwiches, home made soups, cakes and premium teas. Enjoy your afternoon tea in the luscious garden grounds, surrounded by half a million acres of countryside, the light wicker chaired conservatory, or by the open log fire on the comfortable armchairs and sofas. Relax in your beautiful surroundings and feel pampered after a day of pure relaxation in the country setting.

Requirements
You may like to add a glass of Champagne to your booking, for an additional £10.00 per glass - this can be added upon booking your chosen date (ages 18+ only).
Any dietary requirements must be made clear to the hotel upon booking.
