Travel back to medieval times and discover the skill of arrow making. Learning from a band of merry men, you’ll be working with authentic materials to create traditional arrows. This is a great historical experience and a fantastic way to learn a unique new skill.
This full day arrow making course begins as you meet your instructors, a group of outlaws who must live off the land and make everything they need to survive. They will teach you the historical ways of arrow making including hand planning ash for the shafts, working with feathers for fletchings and boiling traditional glue for assembly. You’ll spend the day working closely with your instructors to create perfectly formed arrows, pausing for lunch midway. This course can be tailored to suit you, just let the merry men know if you want to make historical military style arrows or authentic re-enactment arrows. At the end of the experience you will take home all the arrows you have made, so the next time you fancy a spot of archery you can impress your friends with hand crafted arrows!
This traditional arrow making course is a fantastic way to spend the day for a lover of archery or for anyone with an interest in middle age life. It makes a great experience gift and can be taken alone or with a group of friends.
