Snowy London

I had been on the same lunch cruise about 5 years earlier and I can say that the quality of the meal had improved in the intervening period and I'm sure the vessel had been re-modelled. Staff were friendly and helpful but they were hardly stressed as the cruise wasn't heavily booked. A trip up the Shard is a must as the view is stunning and when you go to the upper level it's good to feel the elements. I went when there was snow on the ground and although visibility wasn't brilliant this was more than compensated by the blanket of snow. Visited mid afternoon with few people around due to the weather. The lifts are silky smooth and ear popping is about the only sensation. A good trip.
