We only did the boat trip and loved it so would definitely consider booking a trip where we got a bit more time on the water and had some food ?

From start to finish, our river cruise was the perfect Oxford outing! Our skipper guide met us at the dock of a restaurant, and took us on an informative tour with a break in the middle. We got out at a local pub, purchased beers and snacks and hopped back on the boat, drinking and watching the city go by. The skipper knew all the local history and kept the tour entertaining without it being too dense with information. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Oxford!

My friends and I loved this Oxford river cruise. Even though the weather was a bit grey, the river and surrounding area still looked beautiful and it was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Our skipper was fun and knowledgeable, and took us through the history of the area in an engaging way. We stopped halfway for a drink - from a pub that can only be accessed by foot, bicycle or boat! - which we enjoyed on our return journey. A nice mix of music was playing as we cruised back to the start point. A lovely experience.

Our Oxford River Cruise was 1st class. 2 Friends came with us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The skipper was very informative and didn't spoil our trip by talking too much. Will certainly recommend it.

As previous reviewer just the two of us on board with a very nice guide who gave us loads of snippets of history on a calm trip. Shame there weren't more people as we thought he felt he had to keep talking which was good tour guiding but we felt we had to keep listening! Super reception despite The Folly base getting ready for a wedding cruise. We followed the trip with an absolutely fabulous lunch in The Folly.

We had an excellent lunch in the restaurant and we also very much enjoyed our trip on the Thames, which was relaxed and informative. All staff on the day were very helpful. I would rate the experience as a 5 but for the difficulty we experienced in booking the cruise with an Experience Days voucher, which recommended telephoning to book. The telephone was never answered, despite several attempts.

We shared a table with another couple which was not expected and they were reluctant to do so. This meant having to converse with them the whole time! The picnic provided was no comparison to the description on the website. We only had a small sandwich, a piece of bread, a pot of poached salmon, a pot of mackerel, a pot of Quiona salad and a piece of chocolate brownie. The 'Captain' saved the day, he was very informative!
