Military Vehicle Driving Experience Days: You'll set off on an extraordinary off-road driving adventure, offering the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a historic ex-army vehicle. This experience takes place in The New Forest, providing stunning landscapes.
This unique driving experience, located not far from Salisbury, immerses you in miles of tracks, allowing you and a friend or loved one to take turns navigating through wonderful surroundings. Unlike typical off-roading experiences, this adventure focuses on the thrill of driving vintage vehicles, offering a nostalgic and unforgettable journey. Groups of two or three will get to take it in turns to drive an iconic 4x4s such as the 1953 Rolls Royce powered Austin Champ jeep. Larger groups will get to enjoy and drive additional vehicles such as an ex-special services LWB Land Rover, and a 3 litre V8 Land Rover 101 Forward Control artillery tractor*. Your experience concludes with a well-deserved coffee break at the charming 'The Bull Inn,' conveniently situated very nearby.
This unique off-road driving experience is perfect for history and adventure enthusiasts, or anyone with a love for vintage vehicles. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, or just seeking a memorable day out, this experience promises memories to cherish for a lifetime.
When can you book The New Forest Military Vehicle Experience For Two
This experience tends to run 7 days a week, but is subject to availability. Bank holidays and weekends are likely to book up quickly.
The arrival time is at 11am.
Driving Requirements
Participants must have some driving experience, but do not require a driving licence.
Maximum Weight: 18st.
Maximum Height: 6'2".
Bookings for two to three people will drive the iconic 4x4s such as the 1953 Rolls Royce powered Austin Champ jeep.
Bookings for four to eight people will drive the Austin Champ jeep and an ex-special services LWB Land Rover.
Bookings for nine to twelve people will drive the Austin Champ jeep, an ex-special services LWB Land Rover and the 3 litre V8 Land Rover 101 Forward Control artillery tractor.
