Experience Days Attractions: Get ready to take on a new kind of adventure, with the Bear Grylls Dive Experience in Birmingham! During your visit, you’ll get the chance to obtain your PADI beginners certificate by diving with over 800 tropical sea creatures. You even have full access to the Royal Marine inspired assault course, where you can attempt to beat Bear's competition time of 1 minute and 3 seconds!
The Bear Grylls Adventure is Birmingham’s latest and greatest attraction, and this voucher challenges you to explore the unknown as you explore the sea bed in a purpose-built dive environment. The pro dive team will be on hand to help you gear up for the experience, and teach the basics of diving. No previous diving experience necessary! Once happy with your diving techniques and knowledge, you'll dive straight into a tank with over 800 tropical sea creatures, including the chance to get up close to some amazing sharks and rays. Experience the unknown as you test your confidence by diving into the ultimate unexplored environment! Your voucher also includes a free digi photo, so you can take the memories home with you.
The Bear Grylls Dive Adventure is a fantastic entry into the world of diving, and a unique opportunity to challenge your brain, body and reflexes, all inspired by Bear's love of adventure.
Availability
This experience is available 7 days a week, throughout the year (subject to change and availability), excluding Christmas Day.
Dates are subject to availability at the time of booking. Please enquire prior to purchase if you have a specific date in mind by clicking the 'Enquire About This Experience' button, and a member of our customer service team will be able to check availability for you.
Opening times are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pm
Saturday: 9am-8pm
Sunday: 9am-7pm
Requirements
Minimum Height: 4"6 ft (1.4m)
Minimum Age: 10
Anyone under the age of 16 will need a guardian with them on their activities.
16 and 17 year olds can visit unaccompanied but they will be unable to supervise others.
Please note, you cannot fly within 12 hours of the dive experience.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this experience pregnant guests are unable to take part.

Time Spent at Venue: 3:00
Please allow three hours for the Bear Grylls Dive Experience, for set up before your adventure as well as the assault course.

Spectators are free of charge and can visit the café and areas of Assault Course, Climb, Dive and iFLY.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
Please bring your own swimming costume and towel for the Bear Grylls Dive Experience.
All safety equipment will be provided by the Bear Grylls Adventure.
For the assault course, you will be wearing your own clothes so make sure they’re adventure ready. No skirts, scarves and hats are permitted.
You will need to be wearing lace up trainers. Slip on shoes, high heels and flip flops are not to be worn.
Weather
This Bear Grylls Dive Experience is held indoors, so will not be affected by the weather.
