Experience Days Attractions: D’you and a friend have what it takes to face some of Earth’s greatest adventure challenges? Well, stick around – ‘cause here we have a full day’s activities inspired by the boundary-pushing exploits of TV’s favourite survival expert Bear Grylls (sorry, Ray).
The Bear Grylls Adventure is Birmingham’s latest and greatest attraction, comprising a Royal Marine inspired assault course, plus your choice of not one, but TWO other unique adrenaline fuelled activities each: Archery, Axe throwing, climbing or shooting. It’s an awesome line-up – how will you decide? You can learn archery from real long bow experts, or experience the satisfaction of hitting your target in the air rifles and air pistols shooting session. Finally the Fear Zone will see you conquer your fears and sharpen your mind. With all going dark and the walls squeezing in on you, will you find your way out? These activities will test both of your physical and mental abilities, as well as your teamwork – readying you for what else lies ahead. Are you both ready for an adventure of a lifetime? Your voucher also includes a free digi photo, so you can take the memories home with you.

Availability
This experience is available to book on Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the year (subject to change and availability), excluding Christmas Day.
Opening times are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pm
Saturday: 9am-8pm
Sunday: 9am-7pm
Requirements
Bear Grylls Assault Course and Fear Zone: Minimum age 5. Participants aged 5 – 9 years must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity. Participants aged 10 – 15 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied.
Climb: Minimum age 5, maximum weight 21.5 stone. Guests aged 5-10 will need to be accompanied on the activity by an adult aged 18+. Guests aged 10-14 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied.
Archery: Minimum age 5. Guests aged 5-10 will need to be accompanied on the activity by an adult aged 18+. Guests aged 10-14 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied.
Shooting: Minimum age 10. Guests aged 10-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1:1.
Axe Throwing: Minimum age 15. Guests under the age of 18 will need an adult aged 18+ present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the experience unaccompanied.
Children under the age of 5 will not be permitted to take part in any activities.
Please note, The Bear Grylls Adventure is not suitable for those who are pregnant.

Time Spent at Venue: 2:30
The Bear Grylls Experience Challenge Voucher is a choice experience, so the duration will depend upon your choice of activity. Please see below the length of time for each separate attraction: 1. Archery (45 min) 2. Climb (60 min). 3. Shooting (30 min). 4. Axe Throwing (30 min). Please expect to be at the centre for longer.

Spectators Allowed on Site: Yes
Spectators are free of charge and can visit the café and areas of Assault Course, Climb, Dive and iFLY only.
Guests cannot spectate Shooting, Archery and Snorkel. Attraction visitors can however wait in the canteen, retail store or oceanarium view.

Where is it Located
What to Wear
All safety equipment will be provided by the centre.
Please ensure you are wearing suitable clothing for the activities.
No skirts, scarves or hats are permitted.
You will need to be wearing lace up trainers. Slip on shoes, high heels and flip flops are not to be worn.
You will need to bring along your own swimming costume and towel for the dive experience.
Weather
The majority of this experience takes place indoors and therefore will not be affected by the weather.
