Paragliding Experience Days: Give paragliding a go and experience the thrill of unpowered flight! This extended tandem experience in East Sussex is the perfect introduction to the sport, with 25 minutes flight time and stunning aerial views of the South Downs!
Depending on the wind direction, experiences take place at one of several scenic locations in East Sussex. On arrival, you’ll be greeted and briefed by an instructor before stepping into the harness. They’ll then attach both of you to the wing and lead you to the take-off point. When you’re ready, you’ll take a few steps forward while the wing is raised, lifting you off the ground. Once airborne, flights last around 25 minutes, and whether you’re hoping for a gentle, relaxing glide or something a bit more exciting, your instructor will work hard to ensure it’s an experience you never forget! They’ll expertly navigate invisible thermals, helping you to take control yourself or simply enjoy breathtaking bird’s-eye views of the scenery below. Flights are filmed if the conditions allow it, and after touching back down, you’ll receive this footage free of charge—so you can relive the adventure whenever you like!

Availability
Ordinarily this experience runs Thursday - Sunday, year-round, subject to availability.

Requirements
The minimum age for this paragliding adventure is 16.
Participants aged 16 and will require parental consent.
Pregnant people or those with limited movement may not be able to fly, but can get in touch to discuss. Please press the 'Enquire About This Experience' button to contact our customer service team.

Time Spent at Venue: 1:00
You will receive roughly 25 minutes of flight time during this paragliding experience, but you can expect to be at the centre for slightly longer.
They will aim to spend an hour with each passenger, but if the weather is not perfect you may need to wait a while before you fly.
Distance is weather-dependent. If minimum flight time is not achieved, you will be re-booked for later that day or a future date.

The maximum group size for this paragliding adventure is about 6 people, but this is dependent on weather conditions.
Spectators are permitted onsite within reason. Please keep dogs on leads.

What to Wear
You will need to wear sensible clothes for this East Sussex paragliding experience (it's colder up high, so please wrap up warm!)
It is important to wear footwear that you can run a few metres in, ideally trainers or walking boots.
