Static Line Parachute Jump (RAPS) - Swindon

This is your chance to jump from a plane - alone - just an hour outside London. Experience the supreme buzz of solo parachuting in Swindon, take the first steps towards getting your skydiving licence.

Jump from a plane on your own, after just 6 hours of training, with this Static Line Parachute Jump in Swindon. It's high up on the bucket lists of many people, and with good reason - parachuting and skydiving offer a sense of freedom and flight that we don't get to experience every day. With this experience, you don't have to jump while strapped to an instructor, rather you learn canopy control skills for yourself, and the rig is set up so that your parachute deploys automatically. This means you don't have to worry about anything but steering your chute back to earth.

You'll have 6 comprehensive hours of training, after which you'll feel confident to get up there and do it, and once you have completed this course, you can progress to more intense skydiving until you're ready for full-on freefall!

The skydiving centre in Swindon is just 1 1/2 hours from London city centre.

You will arrive early for the course, and once signed in will spend 6 hours training with a highly experienced instructor. During these 6 hours you will learn about, practise, and be tested on:

  • Canopy control
  • Correct exiting
  • All safety/emergency procedures

Once you have satisfactorily completed the training, you will be ready to get up there and complete your first solo jump.

The staff made this experience incredible. They were very relaxed and friendly but at the same time professional. I felt more than prepared to jump out of a plane and felt confident about doing this~! The best experience ever!

Amazing, really enjoyed it. Just the waiting time to jump was abit too long due to weather but , overall had a really good time, Leanne Lane was really helpful when it came down to booking my experience and she help me all the way, emailing and calling me to sort things out. :)

My first jump experience was fantastic thanks to the lovely staff at headcorn, they couldn't have been more helpful. I left booking the jump to very late and they managed to fit me in which was great. The on site facilities include a cafe, outdoor picnic area, wc's and cheap basic accommodation. The training I received was fun and made me feel comfortable with my ability to do the right things at the right time. Come jump day the weather was great, the staff were friendly and the experience was awesome. I'll definitely be going back for more!
