Give the popular water sport of paddleboarding a go during this two hour introduction held near Bristol. You’ll learn the skills needed to balance upon and control your board with confidence as you get to grips with this awesome sport on the river Avon.
Your Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) lesson kicks off with an introduction from your experienced instructor. You’ll learn everything you need to know about the paddle and board before getting out on the water. Once kitted out in a wetsuit and buoyancy aid, you’ll head out and start practising! Beginning with kneeling, then working your way up to standing, you’ll practise different strokes and techniques used to control the board. You’ll even have the chance to take part in some games, where you can really enjoy your newly acquired skills and have some fun with the rest of your group.
Paddleboarding is a great water sport and this introductory lesson makes the perfect experience gift for anyone who wants to get out there and learn something new. This is a great paddleboarding experience to take with a group of friends or alone and is sure to be loads of fun.
This beginners SUP lesson generally runs from April to October.
Sessions run between 10am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday.
Evening sessions are available in the summer months (June -

Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult.

This is a 2 hour introductory lesson.
You'll need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your start time in order to get yourselves registered an kitted out.

You'll be kitted out with a buoyancy aid and wetsuit (if needed) on the day. If you have your own wetsuit, please feel free to bring this along as it will fit you better.
Please also bring swimwear for underneath your wetsuit, and a pair of shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
You are also advised to bring a spare set of clothes to change into after your lesson.
This is an outdoor experience, so may be affected by unsafe or adverse weather conditions. If your experience is called off, you will simply be rescheduled for an alternative date.
