Off Road Experience Days: Drive the all-new Rage Hurricane during this awesome half day dirt buggy experience, available at Prestwold Driving Centre, Leicestershire, and Elvington Aerodrome, Yorkshire. With 25 minutes’ intense drive time and professional one-to-one tuition, it’s a day out you’ll never forget!

On arrival at your chosen venue, you’ll be greeted by a fully qualified instructor and given an in-car safety briefing. They’ll then talk you through the Hurricane’s controls before directing you onto the rally track. Here, you’ll complete around 10 laps, practicing low grip driving techniques like power sliding, hydro handbrake initiation, weight transfer, Scandinavian flicks and brake steer. This introduction is followed by two 20-lap sessions on the faster ‘Rage Stage’, where you’ll fine-tune the skills you’ve learnt. Expert tuition is delivered throughout via the latest Bluetooth intercom technology in your helmet, and when the lesson concludes, you’ll swap seats with your instructor for five no-holds-barred passenger laps. The Hurricane’s 1050cc, 140bhp Yamaha Fx Nytro engine delivers a top speed of 120mph and a 0-60mph time of just under 4 seconds—so prepare to be blown away!

Tatton Park was a good venue though it’s size made finding the right spot confusing. The instructions could have been clearer. Luckily the gatekeeper knew where to go.

Rally experience was booked as a birthday for my son - you were let down by the fact that the team photo which was promised was not taken or handed over. As I didn't attend there was no one to chase it up.
