This incredible full day off-road motorbike introductory lesson is an absolutely fantastic gift for anyone who loves their motorbike, and who has a serious desire to become a better rider! This off-road training course is designed to get experienced motorcyclists off the tarmac and onto a dirt track on an exclusive, private 50,000-acre estate in the beautiful West Scottish Highlands.
This is an intensive introduction to off road biking, and is only suitable for people who already have a full motorbike licence. It's ideal for beginners who have never gone off road, but might also be suitable for someone who has had some experience but needs a little refresher. Throughout the course of the day you will learn the fundamentals of off-road biking, starting with the off-road bike controls, the correct brakes to use on slippery surfaces, and recovery of wheel lock up. You'll be taught the correct riding position, and where to look and what to be aware of while you ride. You'll spend time on clutch control, slow manoeuvres, riding while standing on foot pegs, steering with the foot pegs, and controlling the bike on surfaces like gravel, mud and grass. You'll practice correct braking techniques, and learn how to pick up a dropped bike. Once you have gotten comfortable with all the fundamentals, you will spend the afternoon putting all of your new skills into practice, as you spend the remainder of the motorbike experience trail riding on tracks that are suited to your ability and preferences. By the end of the off road experience, you should have greatly improved your slow speed skills and all round riding/bike control skills!
