Learn to make delicious sausages during this workshop held in Northumberland. Throughout this unusual and highly enjoyable cookery class, you will learn the history of the sausage and learn the techniques needed to create two batches of your very own succulent sausage!
You’ll be welcomed to the class by Tim, the expert in-house sausage maker who will be your teacher for the day! He’ll teach you and your group all about the ingredients used to make different sausages, the history of this traditional treat and the methods used in production. Working in pairs, you will make two batches of sausages in two flavours, using the same methods as the professionals at sausage making companies, just on smaller scale. At the end of your sausage making session, you can take home your sausages to cook up a delicious meal for your friends and family. Shop bought sausages will never be the same again!
This sausage making experience is a great unique gift for any foodie looking to develop their cooking repertoire. Making sausages from scratch is a wonderful skill to master and is sure to impress at your next family barbecue or gathering.
This experience is available to be booked on Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the year (subject to available spaces).
Sessions start at 10:00 and 14:00.

You'll take home around 1kg of your own sausages, made throughout the lesson.
