Supercar Experience Days: Get behind the wheel of a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 during this awesome 12 lap driving day near Hemel Hempstead—and experience its mind-boggling performance for yourself!
The experience takes place at Bovingdon Airfield, Hertfordshire, and begins with a thirty-minute briefing. This will cover racing lines, throttle/braking technique, track safety and etiquette. Next, you’ll complete four sighting laps in a race prepared sports car in order to adjust to the car and track. These are followed by eight tutored driving laps in the McLaren MP4-12C GT3—the car that thrust McLaren back into the GT racing limelight. This tuned and lightened version of the 12C road car features an aggressive aerodynamics package and F1-style ECU. Bought new, it’d cost you well over £300,000—worth every penny, as you’ll soon discover!

This McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Experience is available throughout the year.
A new month's worth of dates are released at the beginning of each month.
Please note: Saturday date requests will incur an additional £45.00 surcharge which can be paid on booking.

You must have a full, valid, manual driving license in order to take part in this experience. The centre is happy to accept international driving licences as long as they fit the requirements.
Drivers must be fit and healthy - this is a thrilling experience which will raise your heart-beat. If you have any health concerns relating to this experience, please check with a medical professional, prior to booking a date at the track.
Any participant entering a vehicle will be requested to complete a Disclaimer form upon arrival in order to participate in their experience.
An Optional Damage Liability Reduction will be available to purchase at an additional charge on the day of your experience.
Flat-soled shoes must be worn.
Glasses must be worn if needed.
This experience has changed to 12 laps, as the course has got longer but the ground covered is the same; 4 sighting laps and 8 driving laps!

For the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Experience, allow up to 90 minutes including driver safety briefing and 12 laps of driving. Please expect to be at the centre for a little longer.

What to Wear
Drivers should wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothes with sensible flat shoes. All equipment is provided by the track.
Weather
This experience will go ahead in most weather conditions and will only be effected by severe weather.
If this happens, your driving experience will be rescheduled to a suitable day. If you are unsure about the weather on the day of (or before) your experience, please contact the Hertfordshire driving centre directly to discuss.
