This Lotus Cortina driving experience is the perfect experience day for fans of classic cars. Driving a replica of the 1963 classic Ford Cortina Lotus for 6 miles around a track of your choice, you’ll experience the true thrill of this fantastic car.
Long gone are the days of the primitive Ford Cortina, typically used as a family saloon car and for blending into the background. In 1963, Ford turned this ordinary car into something truly special: The Lotus Cortina. With the ability to go up to 108mph, experience the true spirit of the 60’s for 6 miles. You’ll start your experience by arriving at your chosen track and signing in. After a short safety briefing, you’ll be shown to the Lotus Cortina, where your instructor will demonstrate the controls. Next, it’s your turn! Put the pedal to the metal and tear around the track for 6 heart-thumping miles in this 1960’s classic. With your instructor will be with you every step of the way, you can sit back and enjoy the thrill!

Availability
Please note that this is a full calendar of dates, including weekends. If your voucher is valid for weekdays only, please ensure you check the date you're booking for. A weekend upgrade is available for £25, payable directly to the provider upon booking.
PREMIUM TRACKS & UPGRADES:
Brands Hatch requires an additional £50 upgrade fee which is to be paid directly to the track when making a reservation. This is also an adults only track.
Dunsfold Park requires an additional £35 upgrade fee which is to be paid directly to the track when making a reservation.
Castle Combe requires an additional £50 upgrade fee which is to be paid directly to the track when making a reservation. (Full licence only)
Snetterton Circuit requires an additional £50 upgrade fee which is to be paid directly to the track when making a reservation. (Full licence only)
Mallory Park requires an additional £50 upgrade fee which is to be paid directly to the track when making a reservation.
Blyton Park requires an additional £25 upgrade fee for a weekend booking, or a £10 surcharge for a weekday booking, which is to be paid directly to the track when making a reservation.
3 extra miles can be added to your experience for an additional fee.

Minimum Age: 17
Minimum Height: 135cm
Maximum Height: 190cm
Drivers of this Lotus Cortina experience are required to hold a full driving licence & must have a good understanding of spoken English.
*All driving instructors are ARDS qualified and DBS checked.
**An optional damage waiver will be available to purchase on the day for just £25. This will insure you against damage excess fees of up to £5,000 in the unlikely case of an accident.

Time Spent at Venue: 1:00
You will get the drive the Lotus Cortina for 6 miles of your chosen circuit (from the list of venues).
From signing in at your chosen track to completing the circuit, the experience itself can last up to 30 minutes.
The entire experience will last for approximately 1 hour.

Spectators Allowed on Site: Yes
This Lotus Cortina driving day is a one-to-one experience between the participant and their instructor, however there will be other drivers on the track.
Spectators are welcome to come along and watch.
There will be hot and cold catering facilities on site.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
Please dress comfortably and suitably for the weather conditions. Participants will need to provide their own waterproofs in the event of showers, and should be aware that some of the tacks can become a little dusty in the drier summer months.
Please ensure that you wear flat, sturdy footwear.

This Lotus Cortina driving experience may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions - if this is the case, the centre will contact you in order to re-schedule your experience for an alternative date.
