London Rally Experience - 'Monte Carlo' Half Day

Get behind the wheel of a rally car and learn essential rally driving techniques.
Our Rally Driving Experience in London is a unique gift for a loved one - and the ultimate in London driving experiences. Feel the need for speed in not just a classic Ford Escort RS2000 rally car, but also the monstrous Subaru Impreza, as a pro-rally instructor teaches you exciting skills (the kind you don't try at home!) on a dedicated loose gravel rally stage.

The 'Monte Carlo' London rally experience kicks off with a warm welcome at the driving centre. Over a cup of coffee, your instructor will talk the group through the day's itinerary, give you some important safety information, and -of course - introduce you to the two beasts you will be attempting to tame during your rally course. Expect to try your hand at power-slides, handbrake turns, and Scandinavian flicks while you gain the confidence to control a monster rally car in both oversteer and understeer. The half day rally car experience offers an all-round introduction to this fast and furious motor sport.
A white knuckle passenger ride is available on the day for an additional fee.

What to wear

Footwear is the most important part of your attire when on a Rally Car Experience. Regular width trainers with a thin/flexible sole are ideal - remember you want to be able to control the pedals beneath your feet. Work Boots tend to be a bit wide and stiff for this purpose.

Safety gear will be provided for you, most importantly a well-fitted helmet and intercom, to keep you in contact with the instructor throughout the drive. Make sure to wear comfortable, casual clothing. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately - in winter, woolly jumpers and strong jackets are advisable.

Certain extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds) can cause problems, however generally, bad weather is not a hindrance. Check conditions with the centre on the evening before your experience to be sure.
