LIVE FOR TODAY: EXPERT INTERVIEW

It comes as no surprise that here at Experience Days, we can't get enough of the outdoors! Live for Today are an amazing outdoor activity provider that offers a large range of exciting outdoor experiences. With everything from Quad Biking to Archery, they'll be sure to keep you entertained!

We've asked them a few questions to find out what makes them so unique.

How did Live for Today begin?

Live For Today was started in 2012. Back then we had just a zorb, a field and lots of human power to push the ball back up the hill each time. Eventually, we managed to extend the activities we offered and started off-road buggies and Air Rifle shooting. 8 years later and we have 3 amazing venues offering over 20 different activities. 

What is your most popular activity?

By far it’s our Quad Biking. We offer 2 amazing off-road tracks that take place in 70 acres of off-road woodland. It’s designed for beginners and by the end, you are pretty advanced by taking on the challenge of our Quad Bike Obstacle Course. Do you think you could complete our quad balance beam or limbo challenge?

What is your favourite activity and why?

My favourite activity is Archery.  It’s suitable for all ages and there are so many different games you can play. We also put our mannequin out at the end of each session to see if you can shoot the apple off their head. It’s always a testament to our amazing instructors when we see people hitting it time and time again. 

Are your experiences suitable for beginners?

All our activities are suitable for first-timers. The only ones I would say to ease into would be our High Ropes and Caving Experiences. They are amazing but also full of adventure for first-timers. 

What makes your escape rooms different to other providers?

The fact that they are inside an actual castle! We are very lucky to have 2 rooms inside Ripley Castle and we managed to keep a lot of the original props from both the games and map room. It definitely wins in terms of backdrop and setting.
