Helicopter Experience Days: The Cotswolds boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the UK, so what better way to see this, than from the unique vantage point of a birds-eye view, in a highly versatile and thrilling form of transport? This 16 mile flight offers you the opportunity to enjoy a thrilling helicopter flight over the beautiful Cotswold countryside: including the rolling Gloucestershire hills, picturesque Cotswold villages and even the magnificent ruins of one of the largest Roman Amphitheatres in Britain - all from an aerial perspective.
On arrival at Cotswold Airport, you will check-in with the ground crew and receive a full safety briefing. You’ll then board a helicopter flown by an experienced commercial pilot, where you’ll experience the amazing power of a chopper as you fly over the 34 mile circuit. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos from the helicopter while you’re in the air, so don’t forget your camera!
The uniquely special vertical take-off, the motion of the chopper as it weaves through the sky, and the fast whirring blades above you guarantees a feeling of excitement you'll never forget. Availability
The Cotswold Helicopter Pleasure Flight usually take place on one weekend date per month between the months of March - December, subject to availability.

Please note, it is possible to reserve the front seat for an additional fee of £30.
Requirements
Minimum Age: N/A
Maximum Weight: 18 stone*, 14 stone for the front seat which will be an additional charge.
There are no health or age restrictions for the Cotswold Helicopter Sightseeing Tours, except children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult, on site.
Responsible children can fly in the helicopter unaccompanied. It is not possible for children to sit on a lap; everyone must have and pay for a seat. There is a step up into the helicopter, and anyone less than able-bodied must have someone available to assist them getting in and out of the helicopter.
*Helicopter tour tickets are priced on the weight added to the vehicle, so if participants are 18 stone or over - two seats may need to be purchased. Please enquire if you are unsure about this.
If any person requires special care, they must be accompanied on the flight, by a fare paying passenger.

The Cotswold Helicopter Pleasure Flight lasts for around 10 minutes and covers approximately 16 miles of flying.Check-in is normally 20 minutes before the departure time, so please arrive early.

Spectators are welcome to watch you take off for your Cotswold Helicopter Pleasure Flight, but will not be allowed air-side. At most locations there is a cafe and viewing area.There are four passenger seats available on each flight, three in the back and one in the front.

What to Wear
You should wear sensible and comfortable clothes for your Cotswold Helicopter Pleasure Flight.
There is heating inside the helicopter and so outer clothing should be kept to a minimum.
There is very limited space inside the helicopter so please avoid taking any handheld luggage or handbags. Ear defenders / headsets are provided.
Weather
The Cotswold Helicopter Pleasure Flights is weather dependent.
If the flights are cancelled due to bad weather, the centre will contact you to reschedule your flight for another day. Please call the centre after 8 am on the day of your flight for updated flight information.
