Stop in Tarbet to admire Loch Lomond, Scotland’s largest loch by surface area, before heading north to the breathtaking Glencoe, steeped in natural beauty and the history of the 1692 Massacre. Continuing through Ballachulish, arrive in Oban, the lively ‘Gateway to the Isles.’ Enjoy lunch by the waterfront, explore the charming town, and watch ferries depart for the Hebrides. Heading inland, visit St Conan’s Kirk on Loch Awe, an architectural masterpiece with links to Robert the Bruce.
