For an utterly unique culinary experience, try a Beef Jerky and Biltong Making Course in Worcester and pick up some new skills that are sure to impress in the kitchen! During this full day masterclass you'll learn how to make authentic beef jerky, and build your own biltong curing box to take home and use after the experience is over.

The course takes place in Worcester and has a maximum group size of six, so you're guaranteed a personal and informative day of cooking and tasting. On arrival you'll have a spot of breakfast and learn how to choose the right cut of meat for the jerky, before discovering the fundamental differences between jerky and biltong. The best way to learn is to make both, which is exactly what you'll be doing throughout the experience! Once you've seasoned and marinaded the beef with a mix of spices, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch in the barn where you can chat to the instructor and gain a unique insight into the world of meat preserving. Following lunch a local brewer will come along to give you an exciting biltong and beer pairing session, then you'll get crafty by creating a professional wooden box for curing the biltong, so you can take it away and finish off the South African snack at home. You'll also receive a note book with instructions and recipes - the perfect way to end a fun day of seasoning, marinading and tasting!
