Food Tours Experience Days: Learn the history of West London while you explore the vibrant area on foot. You’ll follow an expert guide on a journey through local artisan vendors of sweet and savoury delights, enjoying Portobello Road gin right from the distillery, chocolate truffles, Spanish olives, croissant buns and a surprise treat from the famous Ottolenghi.
You’ll begin your food tour experience outside Ladbroke Grove tube station, where your helpful guide will be waiting. After you have been introduced to the rest of the tour group, your guide will lead you through the fun and vibrant streets of West London to taste some of its most innovative, mouth-watering and flavoursome cuisine. You’ll meet the local vendors who are shaping this area into the fun and unique place it’s come to be, and learn all about their areas of expertise. Meet the owner of the gourmet shop Liberté Chérie, and taste a variety of incredible sweet treats including vegan fudge and Anzac cookies. Heading deeper into Portobello Road, you'll try Venezuelan street food and perfectly cured Spanish ham with olives. Next, it's time for a tipple as you head to The Distillery and learn how they distill their award-winning spirit before trying some Portobello Road gin. The next stop is a bakery, where you'll sample croissant buns before visiting the esteemed Ottolenghi café and shop, walking through Notting Hill and finishing with a surprise in front of the Coronet Theatre.
