Whether you're a gin aficionado or a curious spirit enthusiast, this experience is designed to indulge your senses, ignite your creativity, and deepen your understanding of this beloved Craft Spirit. This 3 hour Distillery workshop in Cheltenham makes for an enjoyable and educational day out.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by one of Piston’s Distillers, and of course, a Glass of Gin and Tonic. You and your group will be invited to take a seat at a beautiful Copper Still Workstations before you are given an explanation of your itinerary for the day. You will then be taken into the main Production Space where You will be taught about the History of Gin, dating back to the early 1600's and how the Spirit has developed throughout the years. You will be taught the process of how to make gin, and have the opportunity to piece together the botanicals ready to make your Perfect Recipe. This immersive experience allows you to touch, smell and taste a range of 70 botanicals and experience their flavours through the distillation process too. During this journey you can try Piston’s award winning range of drinks, try cocktails and be taught about perfect serves all whilst you enjoy some light snacks. Finally, it will be time to bottle up, name and take home the bottle of delicious, original Gin you made together! Enjoy a drink of your creation and head home.

The Cheltenham Gin Distillery Experiences run up to 1 day a week on Saturdays, throughout the year. Dates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
