ALL ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Caribbean Cooking Class in Birmingham

Learn how to cook classic Caribbean dishes during this fantastic 3 hour lesson in Birmingham.

Do you love learning new recipes and broadening your culinary repertoire? Well, here’s your chance, with this half day Caribbean cookery class in Birmingham. Discover the flavours of Jamaica, Grenada and beyond—and bring back some island sunshine to your home kitchen!

Lessons take place in Witton, Birmingham, and they’re led by mother and daughter team Monica and Lee. Monica grew up on the Grenadian island of Carriacou before travelling to the UK in the 1960s. Since then, she’s brought a taste of her Caribbean heritage to everything she cooks! Daughter Lee has inherited all her mother’s knowledge and skill, and together they make a warm and engaging duo. Choose from their range of evening lessons—like those covering Jamaican & Grenadian classics, Caribbean street food, baking, vegetarian and vegan dishes—and cook up a storm in a fun and supportive environment. The menu varies but can include jerk chicken, hearty curries, classic rice & peas, fried plantain, and more. All traditional ingredients and equipment are provided, and you’ll take home a beautifully presented recipe card featuring all the day’s dishes. Of course, that’s after you’ve sat down with your fellow cooks to enjoy an authentic Caribbean feast all of your own making!

Caribbean cooking classes in Birmingham make thoughtful gifts for keen home cooks and foodies. Treat someone to an Experience Days voucher today—and eagerly await your next dinner invite!
