Learn the art of bread making with this informative, hands-on bakery class in south-east London. This 2 hour bread making experience is perfect for beginners and more advanced bakers alike, and is a fun way to spend an evening learning new skills and baking some quality goods.
The class takes place in a purpose-built kitchen in Lewisham, and is run by a friendly instructor who will kick things off with an introduction and demonstration on the recipes to be used. Once you're positioned at your work stations, it's time to get baking! The tutor will be on hand at all times as you make your way through the recipes, offering tips to ensure your dough is rising and you're adding ingredients in the right order. The smell of fresh bread will start to fill the kitchen as the dough bakes in the oven, adding to the anticipation of your first taste at the end! By the end of the 2-hour course you'll have a whole host of new culinary skills to play with, ideal for practising at home and impressing your friends and family.
