Brighton & Hove is known for its artistic flare, so Rina and I couldn’t wait to get in touch with our creative sides and explore Charlie Doodle’s range of inventive workshops. A talented illustrator and artist, Charlie up-cycles vintage materials in order to create new pieces. You can learn all about Charlie in her partner interview, here! Located just off Hove high street, Charlie’s studio is very easy to get to. After a short walk from Hove station, along the beautiful seaside terraced houses, we had arrived.
Last month Experience Days welcomed the wonderful Charlie Doodle. Leading a range of different lessons and classes, Charlie is all about helping people tap into their creative sides and try out something new. Her collection of creative workshops spans from homemade candles to key ring making, and we wanted to get to know more about the Brighton based business.
Compared to today’s wet weather, the 18th of October was a lovely sunny day, perfect for travelling up to London! Gemma and I were heading to the capital to take part in an arty creative class with M.Y.O. London. Excited to see what our class entailed, we jumped on the tube from London Victoria straight to Borough station, and within a 4-minute walk, we were at the doors of M.Y.O.
A huge welcome to one of our latest additions to Experience Days: M.Y.O – Your Creative Fix! And what better way to get to know our partners than an interview all about them? M.Y.O. list an incredible (and extremely artsy) 8 experiences with us, including Calligraphy, Illustrated London Maps Classes, T-shirts & Tiles Printing Workshops, and Tassel Earring Creation. There’s plenty for all you art enthusiasts, so let your inner-child run free and get creative! Did I mention its BYOB as well? Let’s go!
