Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Cardiff and the neighbouring coastline with this exhilarating helicopter tour. Pass over several natural and historic treasures, during a half-hour’s flight sure to fascinate tourists and locals alike.

The helicopter will depart from Cardiff Heliport and climb to over 1000ft, affording passengers a stunning perspective of the city and bay below. You’ll spot familiar landmarks, like Cardiff Castle and the Millennium Stadium, before tracking north towards Chepstow. Here, you’ll find one of Britain’s oldest surviving stone castles atop cliffs descending to the River Wye. Following the river as it cuts through the limestone gorge, you’ll soon arrive at the celebrated ruins of Tintern Abbey. This former home of pious Cistercian monks is a real tour highlight, and has appeared in the paintings of Turner and the poetry of Wordsworth. Finally, you’ll return south, following the coast back along the Severn estuary as it flows to meet the Bristol Channel.
