Surfing Experience Days: We challenge you to find a better combination than our trio of Surfing, Pizza & Prosecco! You'll learn how to surf waves like a pro in your own private lesson, then celebrate in style afterwards with a glass each of Prosecco and a hearty, cheesy pizza to share.
With this private lesson, you'll learn to ride waves at the famous International Surfing Centre on Fistral Beach, the home of British surfing. You will be tutored by some of the best surfing instructors from Fistral Beach - learning to perfect catching waves, and even attempt standing up on the board! In your two hour lesson, there with be plenty of time to get to grips with the basics on dry land, before heading into the water where the real fun takes place. Don't let the British weather put you off; the centre have equipment and attire to suit any climate and ensure you are comfortable throughout your surfing experience. Tokens for a hot shower are also included, so you can freshen up before you enjoy your delicious meal and drink...we're pretty sure you'll be in the mood for pizza by this point!
This experience is the perfect gift for any water fanatic looking to perfect their surfing finesse whilst enjoying a delicious meal out too! It's great for a fun day out in Cornwall, you will even get to have full use of the specialist equipment for the rest of the day!
Availability
This Private Surfing Lesson on Fistral Beach which includes food and drink is only available off peak, during October to May (subject to availability.)
Requirements
Surfing is a physically demanding activity, so participants should have a relatively good level of fitness and be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres.
Minimum age: 18 years (as there is alcohol available at the end of the lesson).
No maximum age, weight or height restrictions.
A medical declaration form must be completed by all participants before you can take part.
All instructors are qualified surf coaches and lifeguards - you'll be in safe hands!
Duration
Experience Duration: 2:00
Time Spent at Venue: 8:00
You will receive 2 hours of intensive tuition with an expertinstructor, and then will have full use of all specialist equipmentfor the rest of the day.
Your experience will finish with a pizza to share, and two glasses of prosecco at the Beach Bar.

This private surfing lesson is based on individual tuitionbetween yourselves and your expert instructor.
There will only be 2 of you taking part in the lesson.
You will then have access to all specialist equipment for therest of the afternoon.
The lesson will take place on a public beach, so family andfriends are welcome to come along and watch. There are publicdining and shopping facilities at the surfing centre (subject toseasonality), which they are also welcome to visit.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
All specialist surfing equipment, including a wetsuit and surfboard will be provided by the surf school, upon arrival.
During the winter months you will also have access to hooded
thermal rashvests, boots and gloves.
Please bring your own swimwear, towel and change of clothes.
Participants will have access to changing facilities and hot showers.
Once you have returned your equipment, you'll be entitled to share a pizza and a glass each of prosecco at the Beach Bar.
Weather
This private surfing lesson for 2 runs all year round, in most weather conditions.
However, if the water conditions are deemed unsafe for beginners, your lesson may need to be re-scheduled for an alternative date.
If there is not enough surf for a surfing lesson, you may choose to take part in a flat water activity instead.
