(Sea and Sky) Rib Blast

Jump on-board the RIB at Portsmouth and enjoy an exhilarating 60 minute tour of the historic harbour, admire the naval docks before experiencing a scenic blast out to the Napoleonic Forts which sit midway across the Solent. Your experienced skipper will control the RIB surging across the Solent's waters and waves at speeds of up to 50mph! Get up close to the forts as you speed back to Gunwharf Quays to visit the famous Spinnaker Tower. The incredible tower which soars over Gunwharf is a staggering 170 metres high so travel to the top via the lift and trace your recent trip across the wonderful Solent. Look through the glass viewing floor or enjoy a coffee and admire the stunning views of the Isle Of Wight and beyond!

On your arrival you will be welcomed by the staff who will ask you to sign in before being familiarised with your experience. You will then be introduced to your skipper and issued with life jackets and waterproofs as required. The skipper will then guide you down to the pontoons where a pre-boarding safety brief will be given. After familiarisation with the vessel, it will be ‘ropes off’ and you’ll depart Gunwharf Quay for a brief tour of Portsmouth’s historic harbour before heading out into the Solent. You’ll weave amongst the Napoleonic stone forts that span the Solent before heading north, and back to the fortified harbour mouth at Old Portsmouth, then on to our home berth at Gunwharf Quays where you’ll disembark. Then it’s on to the high landmark Spinnaker Tower, where you’ll be wisked by lift up the 170m tower to the three levels of viewing platforms to view the far off points of the Solent where you have just been ploughing through the waves!
