Beginners Cheese Making Class

The perfect experience for cheese-lovers, this 4 hour course will see you learning the art of making your own delicious cheeses and chutneys.

This delightful Beginners Cheese Making class is the ideal day out for much loved cheese fans and all cooking fanatics. You will be led by a professional chef, learning all the tips and tricks for making a variety of soft and gooey cheeses. The chef will provide clear demonstrations for you to watch before it's time for you to put your aprons on and get involved.

The day will be filled with cheese, cheese and more cheese. You will be shown how to make Mozzarela, Ricotta,  Paneer, Goats cheese and Soft Cheese with chives and chilli. Your delicious creations can be enjoyed with a pear and walnut chutney, various breads made from the cheese whey and a selection of oils, salts and sugars to drizzle over. The class will also explain how to take your cheese making to the next level and create a selection of hard cheeses. 

A Beginners Cheese Making Class is the perfect gift for a loved one, a group of friends or just for yourself! You will come home with a full belly and a new gained knowledge of making your own home-made cheese. It will leave you wanting to book more classes and perfect your cheesy skills. 

Minimum Age: 18 years.

If you have any food allergies or dietary requirements, you will need to inform the centre upon booking a date for your chosen class.

Please be aware that his is a cookery lesson with taster-sized dishes, not full size restaurant meals - you are here to learn the skills and techniques.
This is a 4 hour cheese making making lesson.

Please note that this is a lesson - some of the time will be spent watching and listening so as to ensure you learn as much as possible from your expert chef.
Maximum Group Size: 20 participants.

This is a hands on experience so is not suitable for non-participating spectators.
This cheese making workshop runs on selected mid-week and weekend dates throughout the year - usually once or twice per month.

Soft cheese with chives and chilli,

Pear and Walnut Chutney
...and an explanation on how to develop onto the next step of making hard cheeses.
Please simply dress comfortably.
Long hair must be tied up.

Ingredients and equipment for all dishes will be provided by the kitchen upon arrival.
This is an indoor baking experience so should not be affected by adverse weather conditions.
