People have always asked the question, if you could have one superpower, what would it be? Although there are numerous, endless answers to this age old conversation starter – being able to breathe underwater has got to be in my top three! With the Discover Scuba Diving Experience in Bristol, these fantasies can become reality as you can learn to take your first breaths underwater, with the help of fully qualified PADI diving instructors. On a Thursday evening in February, Rina and I were heading to Thornbury Leisure centre in Bristol to do just this, and be introduced to the wonderful world of life underwater!

Based in Cumbria, Leigh and Patrizia offer what they like to call 'civilised kayaking' trips in the UK and throughout Italy. Their Half Day Kayaking Trip for Two sees participants discover the beauty of the Lake District's second largest lake, Ullswater. The peaceful trips are three hours long, and take place throughout the year on both weekdays and weekends. Staff Review: Powerboating in Southampton

Last week we were lucky enough to be invited down to Shamrock Quay in Southampton to ride some of the UK’s most unique Powerboating experiences. I’m not sure what we all expected, but it certainly went above and beyond any regular boating trip! The Honda 150 (a powerful racing machine) and the Jet Viper (a yellow giant that is the only one of its type in the UK) were the boats on schedule for the day, and we couldn’t wait to try them out!
