The Welsh Marches helicopter tour takes off from Welshpool Airport,
and from the moment he chopper makes it's vertical ascent, you'll
understand why so many people have fought for ownership of this
truly beautiful part of the UK. Your pilot is an expert in the area
and will fill you in on some interesting historical tidbits about
Dolforwyn Castle, 'LLywelyn
the Last' and King
Edward I. Then you'll head towards Montgomery, a historic
county town full of charming Georgian architecture as well as a
13th century castle. Here, you'll see
the
famous ‘Robbers Grave’ in Montgomery town's church yard.
From there you will fly towards Corndon and the undulating
Shropshire Hills. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,
and is as beautiful from the air as it is from the ground! Heading
back towards Welshpool Airport, you'll pass over Offa's Dyke and
Long Mountain, before making your celeb-style landing! This 15
minute helicopter tour will show you the Welsh countryside as

This is a 15 minute helicopter flight, but you should allow upto 30 minutes for the whole experience.

Spectators Allowed on Site: Yes
The Welsh Marches tour can seat three to four passengersdepending whether they use the R44 (three seater) or Jetranger(four seater).
Spectators can come along to Welshpool Airport to watch thebeginning and end of your fabulous helicopter flight tour.
Individual passenger seat prices are calculated on the basis that all seats are occupied. The helicopter operator will do its best to fill all the seats, including offering Experience Days customers the option to add another fare paying companion(s) but if all the seats cannot be filled then the flight may need to be postponed. Any such situation will be communicated to you by the helicopter operator in advance of flight date.
