Master the art of drifting in your apache racer

This quad bike and apache rally experience really is the ultimate activity in motorised sports. While most people are familiar with quad bikes and the power behind these immense vehicles, apaches are a relatively new breed in the driving world. Together, these experiences make for an action packed two hours and will take you to a whole new world of off-road racing! The experience will begin with the apache rally car first; with 750cc motorcycle engines and a six speed gear box, the vehicle has a power-to-weight-ratio to match the most powerful of sports cars!

After a briefing, it will be your turn to take the wheel to see if you can master the art of ‘drifting’. Drifting in style is a skill that is incredibly rewarding, and with an instructor sitting beside you it is something you can master. Then, after your apache experience, you'll tackle a quad bike trek! With 200 acres of woods, muddy mounds and streams to explore, you're in for a fantastic off road adventure! This is an experience that guarantees you adrenalin-pumping, nerve-tingling excitement and a day out that you will remember forever.

First you will get to drive the apache off road racer which is an extremely light weight 'buggy' that has a power to weight ratio to match most modern Ferraris. With an instructor in the passenger seat, you will be racing these buggies around a grass track with slick tyres that create a lot of sideways action. Next up are the quad bikes, and you will be schooled in the finer points of driving these four-wheeled beasts. As soon as you’ve got to grips with the controls and capabilities of your new ride and a safety assessment has been conducted, you will be given free reign of the expansive grounds. Explore over 200 acres of wooded hills filled with muddy slopes, slips and dips to push your vehicles to the max!

If you are particularly tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking. The minimum age is 16 years, and the maximum weight is 20 stone.

Please allow at least 2 hours for this experience and arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time.

The Quad Bike and Apache Rally Experience in Kent is available on most weekends throughout the year. Please speak with the centre directly to discuss alternative days.

The centre will provide all safety equipment needed, but please wear comfortable casual clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty. In wet weather a change of clothes is advisable. Waterproofs are provided.

Please note this activity is weather dependant and the supplier reserves the right to substitute the Apache Rally Car with an alternative motorised activity.
