During your thirty minute journey, you’ll ride in a private carriage operated by an expert groom. Sit back, relax, and listen to the soothing clip-clop of the horses’ hooves as you pass through the iconic scenery.
Your experience begins outside Windsor Castle, where you’ll meet your exclusive, expert carriage groom. They’ll show you to your incredible ride for your journey up The Long Walk: a traditional horse-drawn carriage! Take a moment to meet the loveable horses who will be guiding the way before you step into the carriage, feeling transported back in time. As you travel down the iconic tree-lined avenue and take in the incredible views, you’ll experience opulence fit for the Queen herself. Enjoy unparalleled views of the 5000 acre estate surrounding Windsor Castle, spotting plenty of historic landmarks and locations along the way as you relax into the rhythm of the carriage. Highlights include the Diamond Jubilee statue, and the mausoleum of Queen Victoria and her husband, Prince Albert.

Requirements
This horse-drawn carriage experience in Windsor is suitable for all ages.
Your carriage groom can assist you in and out of the carriage, which has hand rails, and wide, low steps. The first step is 30cm from the ground. If you can bear weight on one leg while lifting the other 30cm off the ground, you should be able to access the carriage unaided.
If not, support will be provided for you. Please ensure you make this known before booking, so extra time can be added for this.
