Driving Experience Days: Experience speed and precision in this Hertfordshire McLaren Vs Ferrari Driving Thrill, where you’ll step into the world of high-performance racing.
Starting with a comprehensive 30-minute introductory briefing, you’ll delve into the intricacies of racing lines, master throttle and braking techniques, and learn essential track day safety etiquette to ensure you're ready to conquer the circuit. Your heart-pounding adventure begins with 4 sighting laps, including one exhilarating high-speed passenger lap in a track-prepared sports car. Then, it's time to take the wheel of two automotive legends: the McLaren and the Ferrari 458 Challenge. Start with 8 laps behind the wheel of the McLaren, guided by an expert instructor co-driver. The first two laps serve as warm-up sessions, allowing you to acclimate to the car's dynamics while heating up the brakes and racing slick tires. Once you've found your rhythm, unleash the full potential of the McLaren as you tackle the circuit with increasing speed and confidence. Then, switch gears and experience the raw power and precision of the Ferrari 458 Challenge for another 8 adrenaline-charged laps. With each lap, push yourself to new limits, refining your skills and feeling the pulse of these high-performance machines.
Whether you're a seasoned racing enthusiast or a first-time driver, this experience promises an unforgettable journey into the world of speed, agility, and automotive excellence.
Availability
The McLaren Vs Ferrari 458 Challenge is available throughout the year. All bookings are subject to availability.
Any participant entering a vehicle will be requested to complete a Disclaimer form upon arrival in order to participate in their experience.
An Optional Damage Liability Reduction will be available to purchase at an additional charge on the day of your experience.
Please note: Saturday date requests will incur an additional £45.00 surcharge which can be paid on booking.
Requirements
To drive in this experience the participant must be aged 17 or over with a valid driving licence.
Driving Minimum Age: 17
Driving Maximum Age: 80
Minimum Height: 5'
Maximum Height: 6'2"
Maximum Weight: 18 stone
To participate in the DRIVING experience, participants must have a valid driving license. The centre is happy to accept international driving licences as long as they fit the requirements.
Drivers must be fit and healthy - this is a thrilling experience which will raise your heart-beat. If you have any health concerns relating to this experience, please check with a medical professional, prior to booking a date at the track.
Any participant entering a vehicle will be requested to complete a Disclaimer form upon arrival in order to participate in their experience.

There is a hospitality suite at the centre, and spectators are more than welcome to come along, free of charge, and watch you drive the McLaren vs Ferrari.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
Participants will need to be able to wear a helmet that's supplied by the provider, or you're welcome to bring your own.
For hygiene purposes, a balaclava must be worn under your helmet. You can purchase one at the track, if you don't have your own.
If you wear glasses, these must be worn throughout the experience.
Weather
This experience will go ahead in most weather conditions and will only be effected by severe weather.
If this happens, your driving experience will be rescheduled to a suitable day. If you are unsure about the weather on the day of (or before) your experience, please contact the Hertfordshire driving centre directly to discuss.
