Wine Tasting Experience Days: If you’re partial to a good glass (or bottle!) of wine, this is the experience for you! Join a renowned wine expert for a day’s wine appreciation in Yorkshire — including Champagne on arrival, eleven guided tastings, and a delicious two-course lunch.
This wine tasting experience takes place in York, Leeds and Harrogate. On arrival at your chosen venue, you’ll be greeted with a glass of Champagne before the course begins in earnest. Your wine educator will start by introducing the world’s major winemaking regions and grape varieties, as well as wine making techniques and climates. Next, you’ll learn how to sniff, swirl and sip your wine like a pro as you make your way through a range of different wine styles. Over the course of the day, you’ll taste and explore eleven different wines from around world, with lunch served midway through. Better still, you’ll enjoy lively discussion within a sociable group—and leave a more discerning wine drinker!
