This Canoe Hire and Zip Wire experience in Glamorgan is perfect for adventurous types! Enjoy a half day experience canoeing along the Pontsticill Reservoir or the Brecon and Monmouthshire canal. On your half day experience you will also be taking the leap of faith and flying along a one hundred metre long Zip Wire over the Nant Callan valley, which is surrounded by beautiful greenery.
Begin your experience by meeting the fantastic staff at the centre where you will take a short walk to the zip wire station. First, you'll climb the tree... don't let the size of it put you off, you can do it! The staff will be there to help with instructions and encouragement to get to the top of the tree. Climbing the 20 metre tree is an achievement in itself, let alone stepping off the edge. When you reach the top of the platform, it's time to take the leap of faith and FLY. Next, your adrenaline pumping from the thrilling zip wire experience, you'll learn the art of canoeing from the experts. What better way to explore this beautiful area than from the seat of a canoe? Whether you want to have a relaxing dry session and stay out of the water or get soaked, the instructors will cater to everyone in the group.

Where is it Located
What to Wear
It is recommended that you do not wear any denim and wear old comfy clothes.
For the Canoeing hire you will need a swim costume or underwear under the wetsuit, a pair of trainers with a good sole on and a pair of shorts to wear over the top of the wetsuit. All other kit is provided. In summer months, shorts and a t-shirt may be the best for canoeing as you don't get too hot.

This experience can run in most weather conditions however you should contact the activity provider in extreme conditions beforehand once you are booked in.
