This Mountain Boarding Special has a bit of a kick to it, and will leave the marks to prove what a great day you and your extreme buddy shared! Mountain Boarding, also known as All Terrain Boarding (ATB), is an extreme sport that has really exploded in the UK over the past few years and is seriously good fun. The basic principle behind Mountain Boarding is fairly simple - get down the hill having as much fun as you possibly can and trying cool new moves along the way!

Redhill

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your Mountain Boarding Special will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the grounds and the boards. You will then both be kitted out with everything including the board, helmet and pads. Once you and your extreme accomplice have determined whether your stances are regular or goofy (left foot forward or right foot forward) you'll be ready to start learning the principles. It is then off to the junior slope to have a go! You will both be practicing your power slides and you'll then be shown how to perform moves such as toe turns, heel turns and how to carve down the hill. You can move on to the big slope as soon you are ready, where you can both continue to practice your new skills and be saving the walk all day by using the drag lift!

Minimum Age: 8

You should allow around three hours for your experience.

Spectators are welcome.

Mountain Boarding is available all year. There may be limited availability during the winter, please check to confirm.

All equipment such as the mountain board, helmet and pads are provided. You should wear trainers and clothes that you don't mind getting muddy.

Extreme weather conditions may cause the experience to be affected, if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.
